Mrs. C. W. Abney died at her home in Shreveport, Wednesday, Feb. 18th, and was buried in the Gibsland cemetery Thursday. The remains were accompanied by her four children and other relatives and friends from Shreveport. Funeral services were conducted at the grave by Rev. F. L. Cargill, assisted by Rev. J. G. Sloan, of Bienville. Mrs. Frank Bowden of Denton, Texas and Mrs. Robt. Head, of Bunkie, sisters of Mrs. Abney attended the funeral.
