GRAYSON — The son of the president of the Caldwell Parish Police Jury was killed in a freak auto accident on U.S. 165 just south of here around 7:10 p.m. Monday night.
The fatality was 24-year old Kenneth W. Adkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lavelle Adkins of Grayson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia with burial in Old Union Cemetery west of Grayson.
Other survivors include two brothers, Terry Adkins and Charles Adkins; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Gladys May; and paternal grandfather, Chris Adkins, all of Grayson.
