BRUNER, SARAH---was born in Hardy County, Virginia, on November 9, 1809. She married Isaac Wilkin on January 24, 1827. In 1845, she moved with the family to Illinois and settled on a farm near Robinson. In 1871, she came to Marshall with the family. She was the mother of six sons and three daughters. William died in 1885 and another son in 1886. Elias died April 1894. The other children are Mary Coulter of Robinson, Jacob Wilkin, Henry living in Robinson and Rev. Perry Wilkins of Havana, Illinois. Sarah died July 21, 1895, at Marshall, Illinois. Found in: July 24, 1895, issue of Clark County Herald.
