ETTRICK — Robert "Robb" Patrick Mack, 43, of Ettrick, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.

He was born on Oct. 1, 1965, in La Crosse, to Conde and Patricia (Sosalla) Mack.

He married Mary Ekern on Aug. 6, 1994.

Robb attended Ettrick Elementary School and graduated from Galesville-Ettrick-Trempealeau High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Winona (Minn.) State University. He graduated from Western Wisconsin Technical College with a degree in respiratory therapy. Robb currently managed Bourne Medical Service in Winona, Minn.

He was an active member of Living Hope Lutheran Church, Ettrick Golf Board and a promoter of many youth activities.

Robb was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. He played softball for many local teams.

In addition to his wife, Robb is survived by three children, Lucas, Caleb and Elizabeth (Elle), all at home; his mother; four sisters, Kerri (Douglas) Rod and their children, Nicholas and Natalie, of Arlington, Texas, Kelly (David) Mattison and their children, Mackenzie, Andrea and Connor, of Blair, Kristen (Ray) Johnson and their children, Eryn and Jaclyn, of Onalaska, and Katy (Mike) McNairy and their children, Collin and Allison, of Haltom City, Texas; one brother, David (Cora) Mack and their children, William and Caroline, of Ettrick; his maternal grandmother, Edna Sosalla; in-laws, Gail (Dean) Olson and Steve Ekern of Ettrick; sister-in-law, Heidi (Dana) Stoner of Ettrick and their sons, Walker and Warren; a brother-in-law, Eric (Tasha) Olson and son, (Kylan) of Ettrick; grandmother-in-law, Joyce Ekern; and grandparents-in-law, RJ and Mary Jane Ofsdahl of Ettrick.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Living Hope Lutheran Church in Ettrick. The Rev. Kristin Wendland will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery in Ettrick.
