Gabriel Miguez 1 **

He was called Gabriel by his family. He was walking to school the morning of his death on the railroad tressel. He fell thru the crossing and came up under a barge. They found his body the next day. My grandmother, Angele b. Feb. 1897 was with him. She told me this story. She loved him so much. After his burial, my g-grandmother was so upset over his death, she went to his grave and laid across it time after time; sobbing. Our g-grandpa took her to the doctor and who recommended the family move. So they did to Port Arthur, Texas where they lived out their lives.
