Luella Glover, 83, Rapid City, died Monday, April 1, 1996, at Westhills Village Health Care Facility.

Services were held Wednesday, April 3, 1996 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Savot officiating. Interment was at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou Scott, and her husband, Craig, Finksburg, MD; and two grand-daughters, Sarah Scott and Kita Scott, both of Finksburg. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986, and two sisters."

She was born April 20, 1912, in Carlisle, PA, the daughter of Joseph and August(Worth) Siebeneicher. She spent her childhood in Montana and Newell, graduating from Newell High School. She attended Black Hills Teachers College in Spearfish.

Luella married Orren Raymond Glover on June 15, 1934, in Sturgis. She was a long-time Rapid City resident and taught school in the Rapid City Public School system at South Canyon Elementary School for a number of years. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Note from Irrigator, April 25, 1999: Remembering April 25, 1929, Seventy years ago. High School Honor Roll from The Chinook: Seniors - Luella Siebeneicher, Inez Hafner, Mildred Williamson. (Her sister Bertha made the 8th grade honor roll, too).

Black Hills National Cemetery - buried in same plot as her husband Orren Raymond Glover, Plot: F O 2279. (He was the Army PVT)
