Funeral services for Eva V Danker, 78, Chelsea, were held Tuesday, February 12, at Hrabak Funeral home. The Rev Dr. Elsa Marsland-officiated at the 2 p.m. service. Mrs. Danker died Friday, February 8, 1985 at the home of her son Lawrence Danker, Newhall, following a lengthy illness. Pallbearers were Tom Danker, John Danker, Richard Dorman, Larry Danker, Bill Danker, Steven Carl and David Danker. Honorary pall bearers were Terry Siems and Neil Redmon. Mrs. Judy Parizek was the organist. Mrs. Deb Foley sang "In the Garden," and "Be Not Afraid." Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery, Belle Plaine. Born July 20, 1906 in Belle Plaine, she was the daughter of David and Tillie Allison Adams. She married Rudolph Danker, December 23, 1926, at Albia. She had been a member of the congregational Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, Chelsea; and Daughters of American Revolution. Belle Plaine. She is survived by her husband Rudolph, (Rudy) Danker, Chelsea; one son, Lawrence Danker, Newhall; four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Evelyn) Dorman, Iowa City; Mrs. Larry (Joanne) Carl, Atkins; Mrs. Larry (Carol) Siems, Moscow; and Mrs. Joe (Marilyn) Prenosil, Austin, Minnesota and one brother, Ernest Adams, Des Moines; 26 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean and one son Lyle and a granddaughter Amy Jo.
