Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Sparkman-Brand Funeral Chapel, 2115 Ross, for Mrs. Lucy Viola Royer, 71, who died Saturday night at her home near Rylie, Dallas County, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Royer, a resident of Dallas County for more than thirty-three years, had lived near Rylie on Local Road Route 3 for the last ten years. She was born in Rockport, Mo., and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Niram Curtis Rundle. She moved to Apache, Okla., in 1902, shortly after the Kiowa-Comache territory was opened. She was married Christmas Day of that year. She moved to Dallas in 1919. Surviving are her husband, Floyd E. Royer; a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Royer; two sons, Fred F. Royer and Harry F. Royer, all of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. K. T. Martin of Fort Worth; a brother, Will Rundle of Louisiana, and four grandchildren. The Rev. L. F. Minnis will offiate at the services and burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be L. E. Amos, G. W. Smith, Verne Timmons, L. James Quick, L. E. McGee Jr. and Ira D. Ewing.
