The funeral of Mrs. W. E. Perry who died at her home in the city of Algoma last week was held last Thurs-morning at 9:30 from the late home of the deceased. Mrs. Perry was taken ill on Nov. 11 with Influenza, which was followed by birth of twins, both of which died shortly after, on the 15th of that month.
Mrs. W. E. Perry, nee Leone Fax, was born in Ahnapee town on November 3rd, 1893, making her 25 years and 1 month old at the time of her death. Later she moved with her parents to the city of Algoma. She attended the Algoma High School and graduated from the institution with the class of 1912. After one year's training at the Door-Kewaunee Training School she came to this village where she taught in the local school until her marriage to W. E. Perry on Dec. 20, 1913. Two children, Mary Jean and Laura Belle were born to them. They made the city of Algoma their home ever since their marriage and this fall moved into their finely appointed new bungalow.
Rev. Kraemer officiated and the interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. The many floral offerings were mute testimony to the high esteem in which she was regarded by all.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters. Also her mother Mrs. John Fax, and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Jos. Ackerman, Algoma; Henry F. Fax, Frankfort, Mich., Miss Frances Fax, Manitowoc; Mrs. Frank Shaw, Manitowoc; Leopold Fax, Algoma; Ferdinand Fax, Algoma; John P. Fax, Marshall, Texas; Mrs. Louis Surfus, Manitowoc; Mrs. Jos. Donovan, Cornell, Mich., Frank and Henry Lauscher, Whitefish Bay; Mrs. Adamson, Algoma; Mrs. Wm. Peterson, Cornell, Mich., Edw. and George Lauscher, Algoma.
