Phillip Gene Dalton died at Western Baptist Hospital, in Paducah, Ky. A Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the son of the late Clarence Floyd and Sarah Mae Odom Marshall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancey Kaye Hart Dalton in 1995; a son, Bobby K. Dalton; a brother; Lawrence F. Dalton; and a sister, Mary Louise Dalton-Oliver. Survivors include a longtime companion, Cleva Fultz of Eddyville; a son, L. Dale Dalton of Eddyville; four daughters, Michelle Mayberry of Illinois, Kathy Martin and Tracey Knoweles, all of Providence and Gale Dalton of Princeton, KY; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; three brothers, Boyce (Barbara) Dalton of Warren, Ohio, Hale Woodson (Linda) Marshall of Marshall County and Johnnie (Nancy) Marshall of Eddyville; and two sisters, Brenda (Mike) Henderson of Eddyville and Dottie (Ricky) Conger of Princeton. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. at Dunn's Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Ricky Conger officiating. Burial with full military rites followed in Kuttawa Cemetery.
