Thanks William Maroney who placed obit on site with foto. Willow Inez (Nunn) Russell, 94, of Hot Springs, AR passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009 in a hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Lamar Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, TX with the Rev. Mike Roberson, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Bluegrove Cemetery, Bluegrove, TX under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta, TX. Mrs. Russell was born December 13, 1914 in Cleburne, Texas,. She was co-founder of Faith Mission in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1958 and contributed her faith to it for much of her life, also serving on the Board and was an Honorary Board member. She worked in Bible Memory Association and taught many to memorize scripture. Mrs. Russell, after authoring various articles and Bible discourses, has been known as a diligent Bible Teacher and taught Sunday school for many years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wyatt Callaway Russell. She is survived by two children, Peggy (Amyx) Walker and husband Terry of Hot Springs Village, AR and James Allen Amyx and wife Joy of Wichita Falls, TX; sister, Betty (Nunn) Kelso and husband Scott of Mena. AR; 8 grandchildren Dana Joyce Watkins, Lisa Marie Herber, Becky Lynn Hogan, Marie Amidon, Amy Inez Fajardo, Jimmy Paul Amyx, Allen Wyatt Amyx and Joey Amyx; 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Mission, Bluegrove Cemetery Association, Lamar Baptist or the charity of your choice.
