Homer C. Causey Died Thursday

Homer C. Causey,72,died last Thursday at Tattnall Memorial Hospital in Reidsville after a long Illness.

The Appling County native lived in Glennville for the past 15 years. He was retired from Seaboard Coast Line Railroad(now Seaboard System Railway Co).

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ila Mae Causey of Glennville; a daughter, Mrs. Janet Baker of Glennville; two sons, Bill C. Causey of Savannah and Sam Causey of Boaz, Ala.; four sisters, Mrs. Sini Johnson of Baxley, Mrs. Stella Bee McDonald of Brunswick, Mrs. Lucille Ovelby of Jacksonville. Fla.; and Mrs. Winfred Benjamin of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Buddy Causey of Atlanta, T.F. and Adam Causey, both of Baxley; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. last Friday at Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery.

Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge.
