He was born on March 8, 1924, in Merrill, Wisconsin, the son of the late Algart and Mamie(Krueger)Sabatke. On June 28, 1947, Orville married Lucille Blake at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in McHenry, Illinois. Orville served his country in the US Army during WWII and was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. He then worked for Aeroquip Corporation for 31 years before retiring. Orville enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.
Orville is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lucille; a sister Helen Kamholz, Campbellsport; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
As per Orville’s wishes no visitation or funeral will be held. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in McHenry, Illinois.
