Roy and Anna were married in Livingston, IL on Jan. 26, 1925.
Ernest Roy Ingram, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ingram, was born March 5, 1902, near Stendal, Indiana. He died March 18, 1935, at the age of 33 years and 13 days. The first 14 years of his life were spent on a farm near Stendal, Ind. In the spring of 1916, the family moved to Illinois, and here Roy lived with his parents until his marriage on January 26, 1925, to Miss Anna Dhuse. This was blessed with five children, all of whom , survive their father. They are: Betty Mae, age 8 years, Ralph Edward, age 7, Jean Marie age 5, Robert Earl, age 2, and Raymond, age 3 months.
Since his marriage he has lived with his wife, in or near Des Plaines, Ill. For the past 5 years he has been employed by the Daily Times.
He is preceded in death by one brother, John Wesley, who died March 25, 1900.
Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Ingram; three brothers, James and Norman of Odell, Ill., and Daniel of Barrington, Ill.; four sisters, Anna Wibbeler of Huntingburg, Ind.,; Ola Weitkamp and Amelia Kamman of Stendal, Ind.; Lou Taylor of Palatine, Ill., and Esther Biermann of Des Plaines, Ill.
Roy's sunny disposition made him many friends; always willing to lend a helping hand, he was dearly loved by all who knew him. His ready smile and cheerful greeting will be long remembered by his many friends and relatives.
