Dorothy Jean Diller December 8, 1929 - August 19, 2007 Dorothy Jean Diller of Fruita died at Family Health West on August 19, 2007. She was 77 years old. Services will be held on Thursday, August 23rd at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fruita. Viewing will be from 1 - 2:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Dorothy was born on December 8, 1929 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Kenneth and Florence Diller. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three children; Joey, David and Kevin. Survivors include her sons, Tim Hall, Walter Backus and daughter Jessie Perryman of Fruita, five grandchildren; Mark (Tami) Backus of Fruita, Kristy (Peter) Yacoubian of Fruita, Josh (Michelle) Backus of Clifton, Heather Hall of Santa Cruz, CA, Robert Lamm of Wheatridge, CO., ten great grandchildren with twins on the way and two sisters of California. Arrangements have been entrusted to Snell-McLean Funeral Home.
