Obituary for Eugene Bruehahn

STANLEY (Special)–Eugene Bruehahn was born March 10, 1932, son of George and Ella Bruehahn.
He attended grade school at Monona and was confirmed at an early age in the Lutheran church at McGregor. He finished his education at Marquette. 
He was married to Caroline Kinsel on Oct. 7, 1951 and has spent most of his adult life farming. He was a dedicated farmer.
He died Dec. 14, 1971 at Maynard, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister. He leaves his wife Caroline, three daughters, Christal, Elaine, and Janine and one son Richard. His mother, Ella Bruehahn of Marquette, one brother Helmer Bruehahn of Chicago, Ill., four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Roach of Prairie du Chien, Wis., Mrs. Harold Weidenbach of Marquette, Mrs. Junever Hamann of Marquette and Mrs. Robert Hinkel also of Marquette.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Garden Prairie church northeast of Stanley, the Rev. William Follmer of Stanley officiated. Charles and Betty Follmer sang accompanied by Mrs. William Follmer. Casket bearers were Carl Recker, Dale Rccker, Larry Recker, Maynard Terrell, Roger Hughson and Vernon Morgan. Burial was in the Illyria cemetery.
