The death of John Fisher came as one of the greatest shocks in years to the people of this community. He was a modest, unassuming man, quietly going about his daily affairs with a kind word for all he came in contact. We doubt if he had an enemy in the world. His first concern always, was his family and then his friends. He was a conscientious, hard working man and so far as the writer knows, and we have known him all his life, there were very few days of idleness during his entire life.
The Record joins with all in the sincerest sympathy to the family, relatives, and friends in this sad hour.
John Fisher's death was the first fatality at the Clifford-Jacobs Company.
