Robert Ferguson was my husbands G-G-G-Grandfather.
He was born 18 May 1805 in Ireland to Scotch parents. He came to the USA in 1829 at the age of 24. He settled in Butler Co. Ohio and married Cesiah Keziah von Horne in Abt. 1833. To this union were born six children:
Elizabeth Jane Ferguson 1835-1923
Samuel J Ferguson-------1837-1906
Thomas A Ferguson ------1840-1864
Robert G. Ferguson------1842-1920
Cesian F Ferguson-------1844-
Frances K Ferguson------1845-1857
Robert enjoyed farming and raising stock. From 1852-1857 he was in general merchandise business and from 1857 until his death he was in real estate.
