Mrs. Anna E. Bell, 76, wife of John W. (Jack) Bell, died early Sunday, August 10, at her home one-half mile west of Fickle, after a long period of ill health. The body was removed to the Kleinsmith funeral home.

Born in Washington township, August 15, 1871, Mrs. Bell was the daughter of John and May Jane (Cassman) Miller. On August 15, 1895, she was married to Mr. Bell, who survives.

Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church at Fickle, Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. J. E. Boase and the Rev. Israel Hatton officiated. Burial was in the Clarks Hill cemetery. M. E. Kleinsmith was in charge.

Among those coming from a distance for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Brown of Marion.
