From an unidentified newspaper clipping: John Franklin Kehr aged 77, died Tuesday morning at the Coil Convalescent home in Goshen, where he was taken last Friday from the home of his son, George, in Foraker. He was a blacksmith in Foraker for many years. Born near Nappanee Aug. 29, 1873, Mr Kehr was the son of Mr and Mrs John Kehr. He married Anna Barbara Cripe in 1900 and she died in 1912. Two years later he married Dora Fox, who survives along with 3 sons, Vernon Ray and George M, both of Foraker, and Henry, of Goshen; 2 daughters, Mrs

The body is at the Culp funeral home in Goshen. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
