Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Evenson Chapel for Mrs. Amelia Catherine Churchill, 87, formerly of Ellensburg, who died Thursday at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. The Rev. Sheldon O Price of Wenatchee will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. Churchill was born and raised in Ellensburg. She was the widow of the late Charles Chester Churchill, a former Ellensburg man or farmer, stockman and co-owner with John Faust of the Ellensburg Telephone Company. He died in 1945.

She has resided since 1962 in a Des Moines, Washington, retirement home. After leaving Ellensburg in 1939, she lived of various periods in Spokane and Wenatchee. She was a member of the Wenatchee First Presbyterian Church, Grace Chapter 105, OES of Ellensburg, the Grand Cross of Color and Order of Amaranth No. 11, Wenatchee, the Past Matrons Club, Native Daughters of Washington and the Washington White Shrine Club.

She is survived by one son, George Orville, three daughters, Mrs. Melvin Anderson, Kent, Mrs. Wendell Turner, Seattle, and Mrs. Clarence Mussen, Wenatchee; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family suggests that any memorials be mailed to the Shrine Children's Hospital Fund, care of Nile Temple Shrine, 229 3rd Ave. No., Seattle.
