Kenneth Neft, 26, of Kelliher died Monday in a drowning accident in Upper Red Lake.

Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Kelliher, with the Rev. Alcuin Henger and the Rev. Edward Nistler officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Shooks, with arrangements by the Snustad Funeral Home of Blackduck.

Pallbearers will be John Seitz, Greg Foley, Bryan Singer, Andrew Weidenborner, Jerome Smischney and Mike Nistler.

Mr. Neft was born Aug. 6, 1961, at Baudette. He was a farmer and a trucker.

He is survived by his parents, Ferdinand and Christine Neft of Kelliher; four brothers, Andrew of Kelliher, Lawrence of Pine City, Joseph of Northome and Al of Kelliher; and five sisters, Kathryn (Mrs. Charles) Singer of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Margaret (Mrs. Wesley) Seitz of Tenstrike, Jane (Mrs. Alan) Foley of Lake Park, Ann (Mrs. Frank) Chase of Red Hook, N.Y., and Donna (Mrs. Todd) Daniels of Bemidji.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes.
