Mary Nester Ritter, 82, of Radford, died Monday, October 26, 1998 in a Radford Hospital. Our beloved Mother has gone to be with Jesus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell H. Ritter Sr.; and two sons, Robert C. Ritter and Arvil S. Ritter. Surviving are four sons and their wives, Wendell H. ("Red") and Daisy Ritter Jr., John and Nancy Ritter, both of Belspring, Wallace and Linda Ritter of Hillster, Texas, and Oscar ("Miggie") and Judy Ritter of Radford; a daughter and her husband, Betty ("Boo") and Morris Perfater of Merrimac; two daughters, Margaret R. Hancock of Dublin, and Tammie L. Ritter of Radford; a daughter-in-law, Eva B. ("Roz") Ritter of Georgia; a sister, Margaret Yopp of Blacksburg; a beloved sister-in-law, Leah ("Jeannie") Nester of Dublin; 29 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 1998 at the Belspring Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Moye and the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 1998 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
