Funeral services for Richard Perry Allen, age 19, will be held Sunday, October 19, 1997 at 3:00 p.m. at Eighth Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Pt. Enterprise Cemetery.

Rev. Roy Johnson will be officiating.

Ricky passed away on Friday, October 10, 1997. He was born on April 20, 1978. He lived all of his life in Freestone County. He graduated from Teague High School in 1996 and had worked on several construction jobs.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Sheila Gail and A.D. Black of Teague; his father and step-mother, Clyde and Cynthia Allen of Dew; a brother, Clyde William Allen, Jr. of Bangor, Washington; two step-brothers, Joel Black of Tenaha and Martin Black of Dew; grandparents, Don and Helen Stonecipher of Pt. Enterprise, Miles and Josie Price of Dew, Maxine Black of Teague and Ralph and Wanda Sherman; a great-grandmother, Lucille Chilton of Teague; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Joey Willis, Justin Hullum, Chase Walters, John Gardner, Chris Gonzales and Auden Melindez. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Allen, Jason Allen, Stewart Allen, Clint Evans and Anson Rhea.

Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Mexia is in charge of arrangements.
