Mabel von Cram
St. Helena-Mabel von Cram, 87, died Sunday, at the St. Helena Hospital.
She was born May 10, 1984 in Waters, Travis County, Texas to the late Blanche and Ruben Dunks. She married David von Cram on June 30, 1917 in Elgin, Texas and they lived in various parts of the west before moving to Santa Rosa in 1913. They lived in Santa Rosa for 28 years then moved to Mesa, Ariz. in 1971. Her husband died in 1974 and the following year Mrs. von Cram moved to St. Helena.
She was a seamstress for thirty years and for five years she was supervisor at the Los Guillous School for girls in Santa Rosa. She was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Marion van Wagenen of Angwin; one sister, Cora Ward of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call for visitation Wednesday, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in St. Helena.
Private family graveside services will be held at the Floral Lakes Cemetery in Phoenix, Ariz.
