Death of Daniel Ladd . . . It is with sincere sorrow that we record the death of this good and true man. For several days he had been suffering with a complication of diseases, his system seeming generally to give way, and on the morning of the 20th inst, at his home in New Port, he quietly breathed his last. . . . A few months since his wife, who had for a long time been a great sufferer, was taken from him, and this afternoon his remains will be deposited in their last resting place by her side in the city cemetery. He leaves but two children--George, now just grown, and Joseph, about fifteen years old. We understand that his burial will take place at precisely four o'clock, and all his friends and acquaintance and the friends and acquaintance of the family are respectfully invited to be present. His remains will be brought up on the train from St. Marks and will be conducted from the depot to the place of interment under the supervision of the Odd Fellows of this city.
