(Age 30)

Dear Joe, Your courageous battle to live is an inspiration to all who know and love you. Your love will live on through the smiling faces of your three beautiful daughters, Emma Jean, Jorden, and Aleah. They will be a daily reminder of the loving soul that left this world way too soon. If our tears could build a stairway to heaven, we would be there in a moment to hug you one more time. Knowing your pain has finally ended and that you are in the loving arms of Jesus brings us comfort even in the midst of our intense grief. We know that you are hanging out with Grandpa Bobert and holding your sweet baby Mckenzie. You and Grandpa have a grand time fishing and when we all meet again, we will look forward to hearing stories about the huge fish that got away. We will love you and will miss your forever! Joe's family: Mom, Debra Hayes; Father and Stepmother Steve and Annie Apperson; brothers, Jeremy, Josh, Michael, Brad, Aaron; sisters, Jacey, Channon, Celeste and Isabelle; Grandma Lorraine Gilbert and Grandpa Del Hayes; Grandpa Dick Apperson; Great-grandmotherEdna, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. An important note to the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys have lost their biggest fan. Visitation will be at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home Tuesday, August 12th from noon to 4 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at Life Center Foursquare Church located at 1202 N. Government Way on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Joe's memory to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.
