Mrs. Martha Wilkerson --
Mrs. Martha Wilkerson, 90 years old, passed away on Wednesday, August 7. The end came at the home of her son, Archie Wilkerson, nearn Manning, where she had been making her home since the death of her husband 33 years ago.
Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by the following children: Archie Wilkerson, Dillon, Mrs. Ed Wilkerson of Fairmont, Mrs. C.M. Morris of near Dillon, Mrs. E Amanda Pool of near Laurinburg and Mr. Clarence Carter of near Latta.
Following the funeral service at Pleasant Grove Baptist church, conducted by Rev. H. G. Jackson, Mrs. Wilkerson was laid to rest in the church cemetery.
