Nola D. Hensley Whiteaker 5/28/1907-11/28/1964 Fresno County, California

A granddaughter has shared the following story about Lizzie's death: Lizzie was visiting at a neighbor's home. When a terrible thunderstorm came up, she rushed home and then collapsed on the porch. She died immediately. Since Billie Hensley, her husband had died 8 years earlier, Lizzie's death left Goldia (17) and Lois (14)--the two youngest children--orphans. They went to California to live with their older sister Nola and her husband, Al Whiteaker, in Fresno.
