Mooresville, lost his battle
with cancer on Friday, June
13, 2008 at his parents' residence.
Born Oct. 27, 1955, in
Mooresville, he was the son of
Paul Edward and Fay Robins
Cook of Mooresville.
In addition to his parents,
he is survived by his wife, Jorgette;
son, Christopher Cook
of Charlotte; daughter, Katie
Cook of Troutman; brothers,
Larry Cook and wife, Kay, of
Troutman, and Stephen Cook
and his daughter, Madison, of
Mooresville; grandchildren,
Caleb and Kylee Cook of
Charlotte; stepson, Tracy Gallimore
and wife, Michelle,
along with their children, Jacob,
Grant and Emerson;
stepdaughter, Kristi Gallimore
and husband, Rob, along with
their children, Sydney and
Hayley; and a number of
nieces and nephews.
After high school, Robin
joined the U.S. Marines. He
trained at Paris Island, S.C.,
and served at Camp Pendleton,
San Diego, Calif. Robin
was a proud veteran. He was a
certified welder and worked at
Duke Power and PC God-frey.
Funeral services were held
at 11 a.m., Monday, June 16,
at First Baptist Church, Mooresville,
with Rev. Mark Pitts,
Rev. Eddie Hicks and Pastor
Bobby Blanton officiating.
Burial followed in Glenwood
Memorial Park, Mooresville.
