She was a daughter to Samuel A. and Clyda Carr Lytle. On Nov 29, 1946, she married Richard D. Coleman, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Dennis D. (Sharon), Ronald C. (Clarice) and Phillip J. (Carolyn), all Lima; a daughter, Deborah E. (Michael) Brandehoff, Lima; a sister, Marcella Smith, Penns Grove, NJ; nine grandchildren, Jenny (Lance) Nickles, Lima, Wende (Troy) Hutchinson, Troy, Cherie (Ken) Fairburn, Ginger (Aaron) Stahr, Julie (Michael) Howard and P.J. (Nicole) Coleman, all Lima, Bryan Coleman and Audra Coleman, both Columbus, and Cory Coleman, Lima; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, Victor, Paul, Harold, Stanley and Maurice; three sisters, Juanita DeVere, Dorothy Wiberg and Helen Heffner; and a granddaughter, Christina L. Coleman.
She worked for the Bath School district for 34 years as a cafeteria supervisor. She had served as treasurer with the Lima Metropolitan Food Service Association. She helped serve sandwiches to soldiers at the Serviceman's Canteen.
Services are at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel, with Rev. Charlotte Hefner, officiating.
