Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery Friday at noon for longtime Taft resident, Catherine A. LaBarthe, 95. The pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate at the services. She was born May 6, 1892 and died July 8 in a Fillmore nursing home. She was a very active member of the Taft Rebekah Lodge #343. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jean Pierre LaBarthe, in 1946 five sons, Robert, Lawrence, Irvin, Walter, and Jean LaBarthe all preceded her in death. Her survivors include three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Those who wish may call at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Thursday until 8:30 p.m. and again Friday from 8:30 a.n. to 11 a.m. to pay their respects.
