Andrea Cheyenne Hayes, 16, of Marietta, passed away May 15, 2011.
Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of Brandy and Larry Masters, and Alton and Misti Hayes.
Andrea was a junior at Travelers Rest High School where she was part of the J.V. Softball Team, the Color Guard Marching Band, the F.F.A., and the Archery team. She was two years into the Criminal Justice Program and was to attend the University of Southern Alabama after graduation.
She loved hunting and fishing.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother Michael Lane of the home; two step-brothers, Brandon Edgar and J.C. Elam; a step-sister, Lindsey Elam; her grandparents, Debbie and John Law of Mauldin, Wanda Hayes of Duncan, Willie and Jill Porter of Travelers Rest, Chuck Hayes of Greenville, Larry Masters, Sr. of Greenville, Doug and Carol Barkley of Travelers Rest, and Clark and Darlene Edgar of Moore; aunts and uncles, Alicia Porter, Christopher Porter, Tommy and Ashley Hayes, Caleb Rhymer, Kyle Masters, Daniel and Bridget Raines, Steven and Tammy Kay, Angie Masters, and Tammy and Tracy Barkley; in addition to many extended family members.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2011, in the chapel of the funeral home, with burial following at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Travelers Rest High School Band, Softball Team, or F.F.A.
The family will be at 132 Hannon Road, Marietta, SC.
