Notes: THE PARIS NEWS, 24 Oct 1968: 'Funeral services for Aaron A. Ables, 59, of Vian, Okla., killed in a car-train wreck at Vian Tuesday, were arranged for 4 p.m. Thursday at Fry and Gibbs chapel in Paris, the Rev. Bill Graham of Howland Baptist Church officiating. Burial was to be made in Evergreen Cemetery here. Mr. Ables, native of Atlas community, southwest of Paris, had been with the Corps of Engineers 28 years, currently as an inspector on an Arkansas River project near Sallisaw, Okla.' *Buried near V. C. Howard. Tombstone is inscribed, 'Aaron A. Ables.'
