LUMBER CITY -- Mrs. Annie Louise Bennett Jones, 90, died June 28, 1999 at Taylor Telfair County Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Telfair County and a member of Lumber City United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and the widow of James Dewey Jones Sr. SURVIVORS: three daughters, Annie Ruth Herndon, Betty Claxton and Mrs. Bennie Stapleton ; a son, James Dewey Jones Jr. ; three brothers, Bernice A. Bennett of McRae, James .B. Bennett of Fort Worth, Texas, and Perry A. Bennett of Leesburg, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Lumber City United Methodist Church, burial in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City.
