She was a daughter of John Peake and Hepzabeth-Hephzibah Perry. She died at the age of about 74 years. Her youngest brother was Jonathan Peake (born 1755 at Woodstock, Connecticut) who is buried in the same cemetery that she and her husband Lieut. Samuel Thompson are buried in. She and Samuel Thompson III (who was born in Connecticut or Scotland) had at least ten children. As far as I know (from his will and other sources) there were seven sons and three daughters in all - or who survived him. They were sons Samuel "Square" Thompson IV, Daniel Thompson, Calvin Thompson, Luther Thompson (who may have married Rachel Murphy), Charles Thompson, Johnathan Thompson, and Leonard Thompson (who may have married Sally Van Valkenburg-Valkenburgh) and daughters Lucinda Curtis, wife of Zacheus Curtis, Loone (Joanna) Merril-Merrill, wife of John Merril- John William Merrill, and Sally Murphy, the wife of Smith Murphy.
