Death removed from the Ridgeway community, one of its most prominent residents, Mrs. Gertrude Jones Dinsmore, 45, wife of Mayor Harry J. Dinsmore, of Ridgeway, who passed away at St. Leos' hospital, in Greensboro, early Wednesday morning, following a long illness. The deceased, a lifelong resident of Ridgeway, was active in community affairs. She was a member of Ridgeway Methodist Church, and several of its organizations, and taught a class in the Sunday school. She was for a number of years correspondent for the Daily Bulletin and other newspapers of this section. The remains were brought to the home Wednesday, where funeral services will be held Thursday. Burial will follow in Ridgeway cemetery.
Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Mary E. Jones, wife of the late George O. Jones, widely known merchant and tobacco manufacturer of this county; three sisters, Mesdames W. J. Mitchell, J. B. DeShazo and A. F. Tuttle; four brothers: Thomas K., John B., James B. and George B. Jones.
