Funeral services were held Saturday Feb 24 at 12 noon in the Murray Utah 1st Ward chapel for Mrs Marie Desmond Hill Blacker, 67, a sister-in-law of Mrs Earl (Fannie) Cazier of Afton. Mrs blacker died Wednesday of last week of a cerebral thrombosis in a Salt Lake City hospital.
Attending the services were Mrs Earl Cazier, Bp. and Mrs Neal Kennington, Mr and Mrs LaRoyce Nield, Mr and Mrs Delos Gardner and Mr and Mrs Garth Leavitt.
Burial was in the Elysian Burial Gardens.
Mrs Blacker formerly lived in Star valley and was a school teacher in Etna.
She married Kemuel K. Blacker June 19.1919 in the Salt Lake Temple. He died June 10, 1932.
