LUTHER HERBERT EYLER
Luther Herbert Eyler, well-known farmer residing on the A. W. Feeser farm, near Taneytown, died suddenly at 6 oclock this morning from a heart attack. Although he had been complaining slightly he was able to attend to his work and had been working all day yesterday Mrs. Eyler spoke to him at 5:30 o'clock this morning. When she called him a half-hour later he did not answer. Dr. C. M. Benner, Taneytown. who was summoned, pronounced him dead as the result of a heart attack. He was a son of the late Amos and Marie Eyler of Frederick county and was married to Miss Lottie M. Heffner also of Frederick county, who survives with the following children: Miss Marie I. Eyler, Mrs. Ruth Downey, Miss Marcella Eyler, Baltimore; Mrs. Charles R. Unger, Mrs. Ray Crumbacker, Mrs. Wilbur Lawrence, Roger T. Eyler, Charles S. Eyler, Taneytown; and Harold S. Eyler, at home. He also leaves three grandchildren and three sisters as follows: Mrs. Ezra M. Shank, New Midway; Mrs. Roberta Smith, Detour; Mrs. Harman Ahalt, Brunswick. The funeral will take place Tuesday meeting at the house at 10 a. m. with further services in Trinity Lutheran church, Taneytown, of which he was a member. His pastor, the Rev. A. T. Sutcliffe, will, officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The pallbearers will be D. W. Garner, Augustus Morlock, D. J. Hesson, Harry Ohler, A. G. Riffle and Andrew Baumgardner. C. O. Fuss & Son are the funeral directors. "
