Lester E. "Manuel" Zirlott, who worked as a commercial fisherman for many years, died Wednesday at his home. He was 71.
Zirlott, a lifelong resident of Coden, had also been a musician and played with a local band for more than 25 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Meggison of Irvington; two sons, Aaron Zirlott and Tony Zirlott; and one sister, Helen Thompson, all of Coden; and one grandchild.
The service is set for noon today at Serenity Funeral Home on Old Pascagoula Road.
