DEATH OF HOWARD BATIS
Stone Mason, 58, Virtually Life-Long Resident of Carthage
Howard Batis, 58 years old, virtually a life-long resident of Carthage and a stone mason, died at 2:25 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 827 East 6th Street. He had been ill several weeks. Death was due to a complications of ailments.
Surviving Mr. Batis are two daughters; Mrs. W. A. Stewart of Dallas, Texas and Mrs. Lucille Craig of Beaumont, Texas; one brother, Barney Batis of Carthage
