Andrew's wife Annie died first in 1924. Her parents, William and Georgia Ann Cammon buried her in their family plot in Oak Hill. When Andrew died in 1931, William had already died and Georgia Ann refused to let Andrew be buried there. Andrew Smith was buried past the Confederate soldier's graves just inside the gate on the left. His brother-in-law, Alvin Argo provided the burial plot. Georgia Ann was living with her son Tom Cammon in 1935 when she fell dead suddenly on the steps. The next evening Tom Cammon died suddenly of a heart attack.
