Mrs. Marion Pearl Cromwell, 56, widow of Sterling H Cromwell, died early Sunday morning at her home at Gettysburg R3 Dr. Robert Lefever attributed death to natural causes.
Mrs. Cromwell was born in Gettysburg, the daughter of Amos C Baker, Gettysburg R3 and the late Myrtle L Stoops Baker. Her husband died in April 1972. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gettysburg and was an officer in the Amvets Auxiliary of Fairfield.
She is survived by her father, a son, Charles A Cromwell, Gettysburg R3; two daughters, Gail I Cromwell, Gettysburg, and Mrs. Julie M Romeo, Baltimore; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Freda Fritz, Harrisburg.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 from the Wilson Funeral Home, Fairfield. The Rev. Nathaniel Jones will officiate. burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
