Mr. Roy Muntz, well known citizen of the Beaver Baptist neighborhood, died at his residence yesterday morning, October 23, at 11:30 o'clock, after a few days illness of paralysis. Although in failing health for some time, Mr. Muntz was not considered seriously ill until Tuesday, when he suffered a stroke of paralysis.

Mr. Muntz was born in this county 56 years ago and was the son of the late Joseph and Armilda Muntz. He married Miss Ruth Doan, who survivies, with one son, Mr. Doan Muntz. He is also survived by one sister and one brother, Mr. Frank Muntz of Harrison County and Mrs. Laura Whitaker of Shelbyville, Indiana. There are also two half-brothers and two half-sisters, namely Mr. Yancey White of Los Angeles, California, Mr. Elbert Muntz of Harrison County, Mrs. Mollie Getz of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. Lina Hayes of Harrison County.

The funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday afternoon, October 25, at 1:00 o'clock. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery in this city.
