Emeline had 5 children and 4 were still alive in 1900. The missing child is probably their daughter, Melissa Davis (born c.1846). Melissa was born in Indiana and she was still alive in the 1860 U.S. Census.
Emeline died of dysentery.
"Suddenly Thursday, August 20, 1903 at 7:30 p.m., Emeline, widow of George W. Davis. Service 11 a.m., Monday, August 24 at her late residence, 112 2nd street northeast. Burial private."
