Mrs. Estelle Lovelace, 80, of Florence, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007. She was a native of Lewisburg, Tenn., and a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, from 10-11:30 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel, with burial in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be the Rev. Bud Mayfield and the Rev. Chris Underwood.
Mrs. Lovelace was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Louise and Homer Lovelace, and a sister, Gladys Henslee.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin L. Lovelace, of Florence; three sons, David L. Lovelace and wife, Glenda, of Florence, Doyle L. Lovelace and wife, Brenda, of Tuscumbia, and Roger D. Lovelace and wife, Jeanne; daughter, Stella McDuff and husband, Bob; brother, Willie Hickman and wife, Betty, all of Florence; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Tennessee Valley, Mary Ann Harper, Mary Wood, Holly West, Paula Holmes and Wanda Cobb, also the staff of Wellington Place, and Doctors Edsel Holden and Robert Mann.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Tennessee Valley, American Cancer Society or to the building fund of Highland Baptist Church.
