"Mrs. Ida Allison

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida B. McAninch Allison, 89, of Goleta, Santa Barbara County, a former longtime resident of Fresno, will be held Tuesday at 2:30 PM in the John N. Lisle Chapel.

Mrs. Allison died yesterday in the home of her son, James McAninch Allison. Except for two years in which she lived with him and a few years in Los Angeles, she had spent nearly all her life in Fresno.

She was the widow of Charles Clyde Allison, a farmer and employe of the old J. C. Forkner Packing Company, who died in 1938.

Mrs. Allison came to Fresno in 1895. Her father, Samuel Oliver McAninch, farmed for many years south of Fresno.

She was one of the original members of the Fig Garden Womans Club.

Her survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Emma Protheroe of Auburn, Placer County; five sons, Clarence C. Allison of Fresno, Lloyd B. Allison of Bakersfield, Clyde L. Allison of Chico, Butte County, and James Allison; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Taylor, of Concord, Contra Costa County; Mrs. Zula Dennis of Selma, and Mrs. Lillian Mitchell of Martinez, Contra Costa County; 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Belmont Memorial Park." END
