Obituary.
Addie Ethel Alspaw, wife of Vernon Votravis, was born in Frontier county, Neb., April 16, 1889, where she spent her childhood days. In 1900 she moved from there with her parents to Richardson county, Neb., where she resided for three years, the family moving to Nemaha county, Kas., in the spring of 1903, where they resided for two years, coming to this place two years ago this Spring. She has been a sufferer the past nine months, growing gradually weaker, until the 3rd of this month when she passed peacefully away at the home of her father, west of Wilsey, the family all being present. Besides her husband she leaves a babe nine mos. old to mourn her loss. She was married to Vernon Votravis at this place Sept 15, 1906. She leaves a father, four brothers and one sister to mourn her loss. She was of a kind and gentle disposition and loved by all who knew her. She has gone but is not forgotten.
