Henry "Shorty" Achziger died Thursday morning, May 20, 1965 in Loveland Community Hospital.
He was born in Kolb, Russia, August 11, 1885, He came to the United States in 1902, settling in Michigan for three years before moving to a farm near Hastings, Nebraska in 1905. He married Mollie Adler at Lincoln, Nebraska, January 24, 1906. They returned to Michigan to live briefly before moving to Windsor, Colorado in 1908, and the following year to Greeley. Subsequent moves took the family back to Hastings, Nebraska in 1911, and then to Loveland in 1920. They lived at Tacoma, Washington from 1942 to 1945, and then returned to Greeley. Mrs. Achziger died August 30, 1956.
On October 19, 1959, he married Mrs, Marie Schlepp. They have lived in Loveland for the past year before his death.
He was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church.
