"HUMPHREYS, Mo. -- Inah Pauline Williams, 85, died Friday, June 2, 1989, in Trenton, Mo.

Born northeast of Humphreys, she attended Eggleston Grade School before moving with her parents to Parsons, Mo., in 1919. She completed grade school at Hamilton School and graduated from Humphreys High School in 1929. She married Herbert Hudson in 1934. They farmed southeast of Humphreys until moving to Trenton in 1960, where she was a member of the Trenton police meter department for several years and worked in various restaurants.

A charter member of the Trenton Sweet Adelines, she was a member of the Christian Church and Order of the Eastern Star, both of Humphreys, and active in 4-H and extension clubs.

Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Masil Williams; and three sisters, Nellie Harding, Dolly Langdon and Irene Williams.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry of Trenton and Terry of the home; two brothers, Lester Williams of rural Browning, Mo., and John Williams of Trenton; a sister, Geneva Russell of Trenton; and two grandchildren.

Services were held Monday at Humphreys Christian Church. The body was cremated." St Joseph News-Press, June 6, 1989
